The EveningStar sits right in the mini-glider category, but with a more refined foil than most. Balancing between the ThickLizzy and the FM. The model is an easy, widepoint (slightly) forward outline, well balanced for speed and carving, fluid and fast... forgiving enough for a weekend cruise, but refined for sensitive, mid-face trim and down the line speed that you won't expect.
The bottom shape is pure FM DNA, just without the channel. A heavy spiral vee puts these onto rail effortlessly and with power. The rocker is mellow but continuous, lending itself to lots of glide and trim in smaller waves, with flow and connectivity. The thin foil and projection-happy bottom keep these things interesting for all types of surfers looking to go a step beyond the average in the mini-glider category.

With a unique, 3 box fin setup, the Evening Star can be surfed as both a single fin or a twin fin. It's suggested the Thicklizzy fin be used when going single, and the FM Twin set be used when going twin. The single fin will provide more pivot, free, and fluid surfing, whereas the twin will offer more drive, feedback, and zip.
